Reverend C.C. Banks

Dear Beloved Friends,
I am sad to announce the passing of our beloved Pastor, Reverend C.C. Banks. Rev C.C.was Pastor of the Center for Spiritual Living White Plains (formerly First Church of Religious Science). Rev C.C. was hospitalized briefly and made her transition on Saturday, June 6, 2009.

In addition to conducting Sunday morning Celebrations, she taught accredited and unaccredited classes in Religious Science. She was a frequent contributor to Creative Thought and Science of Mind Magazines and created a popular workshop "The Eleventh Commandment -- Lighten Up" which was presented at national Religious Science conferences. She was Chairperson of the Spiritual Practices Committee for the International Centers for Creative Living. Rev C.C. was active with the Westchester Holistic Network and was a popular speaker at their meetings and conferences.

Rev C.C. was also an accomplished actor, writer and director. Her passions were Theater and her Church.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
